Sridhar Ranganathan

Sridhar Ranganathan is the Technical Director for Materials Science at Kimberly-Clark Corporation.  His professional expertise is in transport phenomena especially related to porous media. Sridhar has been with Kimberly-Clark since 1995 and has made a range of contributions across multiple technology areas including novel absorbent materials, next generation nonwovens, and smart systems. Prior to joining Kimberly-Clark, he was at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), where his research focused on flow of polymeric fluids in porous media.

Sridhar has a Bachelor of Technology from the Indian Institute of Technology (Madras) and a doctorate from the University of Delaware, both in Mechanical Engineering.  He has more than 35 granted United States patents. His research has been published in several peer-reviewed journals and he has co-authored chapters in two monographs on polymer composites.
